Cleckheaton Under 16 Rugby Tour 2012 to Holland
At 5am, on a Thursday morning, 37 bleary eyed tourists, consisting of 23 Lads and 14 Dads, set off on the Cleckheaton Under 16s Tour to Holland.
On arrival a good night was had by all.
Friday was a fun day when the morning was spent in Amsterdam to enjoy the sights and the afternoon was spent at the Duinrell Amusement Park &TikiSlide Pool followed by more local entertainment around TheHague
Saturday was the match day againstR C The Hookers based in the Hook of Holland where the Cleckheaton U16s played against a mixed U16 & U18 team. All 23 players took part in the game which was closely contested until half time. In the second half Cleckheaton’s superior technique and fitness were a major factor in Cleckheaton running out winners by 55-12.
Excellent post-match celebrations with the RC Hookers Clubfollowed by a good night out rounded off the Tour ready for the trip home on the Sunday
