A good game between two well matched teams but it was Robbie Butterworth who broke the deadlock with another powerful try. Hudds bounced back before Aaron Jackson wriggled free to score. Cleck started to loose ball in the ruck to concede two more. Second quarter and it was Hudds striking first, Lucas Birts finished well in the corner for a great wingers try. Two more Hudds scores then Tom Oldroyd powered through to score a good try as Hudds got the last word of the half. Cleck produced some great tackling but just lacked a little polish when offloading and securing the ball however workhorse Will Clerehugh’s efforts paid off as he scored. 9-5 down Cleck were much stronger in the last ten minutes Veron Dhesi scoring and Robbie Butterworth grabbed another two to complete yet another hat-trick just wasn’t enough as Hudds again had the last word to win 10-8.
